Bally x Soieries du Mekong Special Collection of Scarves

Bally continues its dedication to sustainable development. The Swiss brand has collaborated with French NGO Soieries du Mekong on a special edition collection of 500 silk scarves. The NGO offers women from the poorest rural areas of Cambodia an opportunity to develop their hand-weaving skills and knowledge, which, in turn, also provides them with a stable and sustainable working environment.

Each silk scarf is completely handmade in Cambodia, and takes up to 40 hours to complete. This complex process includes measuring and dying the individual strands before weaving them. Available in 2 styles, a 90 x 90cm square in large gingham, and a 45 x 168 cm length in small gingham, in several different bold colours and finished with signature handmade tassels on each of the four corners.

This limited collection of scarves are now available in select Bally boutiques within the US, UK, Switzerland, Germany, Milan, France, Japan, and Hong Kong, as well as via the official website.
