Gucci's Sylvie bag has been around since Spring/Summer 16, and I'm sure by now, you're all familiar with this design. When it was first introduced, we saw it with a grosgrain ribbon top handle, as well as a detachable leather shoulder strap that it came with, and topped off with a bow made of the House's signature web stripe. For Spring/Summer 17, however, the Sylvie comes in the new mini size, with a detachable tricoloured silk cord shoulder strap. Also new for this season, is the larger size, in silk brocade, just like we saw on the runway.
I have to say though, that although many have commented that they love the ladylike vibes that the Sylvie exudes, it isn't really my style because, as you know, although I love feminine details like bows and vibrant colours, I also like them with a bit of edge and yes, a whole lotta studs. Also, top handles aren't really my thing, y'know?
