Yesterday I had the privilege of attending the Gucci Garden Press Preview at Pavilion KL, and it really was if I stepped into Creative Director Alessandro Michele's mythical world.
The Hydra (that's a 3-headed snake) greeted us at the entrance of the Gucci Garden installation, with a Marmont bag each, dangling from its respective mouths.
Bags flanked the walls, with the Marmont collection of bags on the left, complete with oversized bedazzled ladybirds on the walls, and to the right, it was all about the Dionysus.
|The blingy one on the right is my FAVE bag!!|
And then of course, there was also the other bag of the season, The Sylvie
|This blinged out parrot's head is gorge!|
And of course, no Michele installation is complete without the Bee, and the Snake!
Quite ingenious, no, to have the shoes balancing on the serpent?
It really was quite enchanting, really, to step into Michele's magical universe. Take a look at my Instagram story (you can find me at @bagaddictsanon) for a closer look at the installation and collection. If you'd like to head down to check out the Gucci Garden for yourselves (everything is imported from Italy including the lush pink carpets!), it's open to the public from now until October 18th at the Pavilion KL store. I hope you'll enjoy yourselves as much as I did!
Thanks to the Gucci team for having me!!
