Dior's recent Cruise 2017 show at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire was inspired by the the post-war aristocracy's wardrobes, but also urged for a desire and hunger for the 'new'. The result was a hodgepodge of influences. The floral and equestrian prints are reminiscent of the English countryside, silks and velvets in African and Asian prints, as well as the intricate embroidery work similar to that of haute couture - all these of which were drawn from Monsieur Dior's body of work as documented in the archives.
Now, here's a look at the magnificent palatial venue, as well as a compilation of the best looks and key moments of the Cruise 2017 show.
