Dior has collaborated with digital artist Doug Abraham, whose signature is his use of découpage techniques, colour saturations, interferences, and the reinterpretation of images, in his artworks. Known on Instagram as @bessnyc4, the artist does mash-ups of fashion campaigns and pop culture photographs. The subject of reinterpretation here, is Dior's latest DiorSplit sunglasses, which first debuted on the Maison's Spring/Summer 2016 runways. His work for Dior is a juxtaposition of the advertising campaign photos by Patrick Demarchelier against the black-and-white shots of women posing in Dior in the 1950s.
