Loewe has introduced its latest It bag for the Spring/Summer 2016 season. The "Hammock" bag gets its name from the way it it is held up by the shoulder strap on both ends. When viewed from the side, you'd also notice a dip in the middle, hence the hammock reference.
The Hammock bag is chameleon-like in the way that it morphs into several shapes. As shown below, it can be used with its sides tucked outwards, forming a rounded boat-like shape, or more geometrical with the sides tucked inwards to form a triangular silhouette.
Extremely versatile, the bag can be worn crossbody, hand held, or as a shoulder hobo. Made of calf leather, the bag is available in Oro suede, Aqua, and black - all colours of which, are shown above. I know you guys are probably thinking that this sorta resembles the Hermès Lindy, but this is really less structured and more supple, plus the zipper details give the bag a more modern appeal don't you think? ;) All I can say is the Hammock is my favourite out of the other bags that that Jonathan Anderson has designed for Loewe thus far!
