Other than the Diorama and the iconic Lady Dior, there was one bag that dominated Dior's Fall/Winter 15 runway during Paris Fashion Week, and its identity has been recently revealed as the "Dune" bag. Its silhouette, which is a cross between a hobo bag and something more structured with a saddle-shape, it sort of reminds me of Dior bags from the early 2000s.
Inspired by desert sand dunes, Dior introduces a "Sand" grain calfskin - a new leather created and designed exclusively for the Dune line of bags featuring embossed grain texture, to resemble fine powdery grains of sand dunes. Available in hand-sprayed stripes to create an almost ombré-like gradient, the Dune is available can either be hand-carried with the top handle, or with the detachable long strap for crossbody use that come either in small or medium sizes. If you prefer something more luxurious, opt for the exotic skin version.
