Gucci's Dionysus Bag

Meet the Dionysus, Alessandro Michele's first It Bag for Gucci, from his debut Fall/Winter 15 collection. With the horseshoe-shaped double Tiger-head closure as its distinctive feature, the Dionysus was named after the Greek god who had himself transformed into a tiger in order to carry a young nymph across the river which became known as the Tigris.

The Dionysus is available in various materials including exotic skins like python and crocodile, and also with a  hand-painted floral motif as we saw in the FW15 ad campaign, and even with an embroidered bee (above), created using strips of brass whipped in silk thread.
