Dior has recently opened a new exclusive boutique in Seoul designed by award-winning French architect Christian de Portzamparc (known for his LVMH tower in NYC), with interiors by Peter Marino, who is no stranger to designing the interiors for luxury boutiques. The newly-opened store is situated in Seoul's fancy Cheongdam-Dong, Gangnam-Gu district.
Four years of construction and design culminated in a 6-storey boutique, with the Maison's facade inspired by the toiles of the House's Haute Couture heritage, with 12 soaring resin and fiberglass sails at the base, which is itself decorated with Dior's signature Cannage motif. Architect Christian de Portzamparc explains his vision and inspiration in the video below:
This multi-storey boutique will house accessories, fine jewellery, watches, womenswear, menswear, shoes, a VIP lounge, gallery, and Cafe Dior, which is operated by Pierre Hermé.

Now here's what Patissier and macaron wizard Pierre Hermé had to say about his involvement in Café Dior. Oh, and warning: there's some serious food porn in the video below.
This colossal Dior boutique is really the ultimate sort of luxury isn't?
