You might not be familiar with the name Shiatzy Chen, but apart from having her boutique at StarHill Gallery, the Taiwanese designer continues to show her seasonal collections at Paris Fashion Week. Last week, I popped over for a personal guided tour of the exhibit located next to the boutique on the Indulge floor. Called "The Essence of Shiatzy Chen", the exhibit showcases some of the designer's designs from all stages in her career.
All of the designer's creations feature luxurious satins and silks, with Chinese embroidery and painting all done by hand by the artisans at Chen's atelier.
