DVF's Blingtastic Clutches From the Resort 15 Collection

Although Diane von Furstenberg has some pretty amazing bags for day use, I always find myself being drawn to the evening clutches, and for the Resort 2015 collection, there's no exception. Here are some of my favourites that I have curated for you. Incidentally, though, they all happen to be of the sparkly-glittery variety, or what I like to call Blingtastic.

The "envelope bar clutch" has long been one of the DvF staples from their evening collection, but this season, I'm particularly drawn to the combination of micro-glitter and the pavé bar. Who'd have thought glitter + bling ain't too much but just the perfect combo?

Ah, the lips. In case you didn't already know, I absolutely ADORE lips and hearts motifs, so the probability of this making my curated DvF Resort 15 list were second to none. In DvF speak, anything that features the lip, whether a print or just a singular one like this  minaudière below, is termed as 'flirty'. And while I'm not usually a fan of red, somehow the snake-embossed pattern makes it perfect. Oh, and who doesn't want blinged out lips?  It's bold, without being too in-your-face.

In Turkey, the Evil Eye was and still is traditionally used as a Talisman to ward off evil spirits, charms and jinxes that anyone may have sent your way. These days, it has become something fashionable, seen regularly as motifs on bracelets, clothes and everything else.

Ever since DvF introduced the Sutra chain-link motif, whether as a print on the wrap, or in other forms like a statement detail on a clutch as shown below, it has been one of my favourites. What's even better is the pewter-toned micro-crystals that give it that glam rock chic vibe that makes it super versatile because it could be paired with an elegant evening gown, a leather biker jacket (think zipper details everywhere!), or even a female tuxedo if you want to play up the androgynous look.

Have you found your party-ready clutches from the Blingtastic picks I've selected above?
