My Faves from Balenciaga's Pre-Fall 2013 Collection!

So I have always been a Balenciaga fangirl at heart, and over the past few seasons, you'd probably have remembered my displeasure at the discontinuation of the Giant Hardware and other bits and bobs, but at the end of the day, I still really love the brand and the bags. In fact, the Balenciaga bags in my closet are probably the ones that I use the most so don't take me too seriously when I express dissatisfaction over some of the bags. Call it a love-hate relationship if you will. ;)

And now, my Faves from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection!

I was (and still am) a HUGE fan of Balenciaga's envelope clutch, and yes, it's one of those rare occasions where I do think the or giant 12 and even the regular studs on them look fine. But what I love most are these latest additions to the clutch family. Though the silhouette of the quilted one above does remind me a little of Alexander McQueen's De Manta clutch (sans the folded-over corners of course). What's interesting about this piece is that the colours you pick would totally transform the bag's look altogether: in the colour above, it's rather subtle, but imagine it in black - instant biker chic!

While I was only ever lukewarm towards Balenciaga's Papier range because it was too simple (and yes, I do know that sometimes, it's good to have a bag without the bells and whistle), but ever since the Papier Zip-Around made an appearance, I was hooked. The latest addition is the Papier Zip-Around clutch (above). Love love LOVE! I want I NEED!

As for the Papier tote below, I love the pink hue, but with the black sides, perhaps a tad contrasting. That said, I wouldn't mind it in another colour!

The latest addition to the "Tube" family can be worn in 2 ways

Here's option 1 for a Uptown Lady Chic vibe

And expand the sides and the silhouette is completely altered. It kinda reminds me of the Celine Trapeze though, don't you think?

Now, this bi-toned Suede and leather combo is to die for. Love the colours that they have put together. This style is not only perfect for travel use, but also to snazz up your jeans.

Now, which of these do YOU like?
