Newsflash: Gucci's "Sound of Change" LIVE Charity Concert - Where You Can Watch and What It's All About!

Gucci's Chime for Change Global Charity Campaign for womens' and girls' empowerment specifically in the fields of Education, Health and Justice, founded by Creative Director Frida Giannini, Beyoncé and Salma Hayek has been brought to new heights. Tomorrow (June 1st), Gucci will present "The Sound of Change Live, a concert that will take place at London's Twickenham Stadium on Saturday, June 1st.

Produced by Kevin Wall and Aaron Grosky of Control Room in association with Harvey Goldsmith, also known as the people who are behind Live Earth and Live Aid, this star-studded concert will feature presenters that range from actors, musicians, activists, film directors and even public figures such as Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Timbaland, Rita Ora, Florence and the Machine, Ellie Goulding, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Aishwarya Rai, Abihishek Bachchan, Freida Pinto, Blake Lively, Gloria Steinem, Gordon and Sarah Brown, Humaira Bachal, Jada Pinkett-Smith, James Franco, Jessica Chastain, Leymah Gbowee, Mpho Tuto, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Zoe Saldana.

Beyonce, too, will be performing a 45-minute set at the event.

Set to kick-off  at 6pm London time (3am Malaysian time) and end at 10pm London time (6am Malaysian Time), this event is also a platform for the broadcasting for inspirational and short films and stories focusing on women's issues globally.

All proceeds from ticket sales (less VAT and Service Fees) are underwritten by Gucci, and will go towards raising funds for projects through Catapult, the first crowd-funding platform dedicated to the betterment of lives and women the world over. Those who have bought tickets to the live event will also be allowed to select the charity project of their choice which their money (from the purchase of tickets) goes towards. A sell-out concert would mean that over 120 projects supporting women around the world will be 100% funded. Gucci, will not, in any way, benefit monetarily from neither this concert, nor the Chime for Change project.

The Sound of Change LIVE will broadcasted to 1 BILLION people over 150 countries across 6 continents. For those of us in Malaysia, Astro, too, will be broadcasting this Charity Concert hosted by Gucci on Channel 952 via the Astro Box Office service on Sunday, June 2nd.
