Video: Hermès Collaborates with Olivia Bee

18-year-old American photographer and videographer Olivia Bee from Portland, Oregon wove her own fairytale with the Hermès scarf as the giant bows on punk-haired fairies’ heads, a uni-horn for her horse, and even a silk kerchief for Prince Charming. These re-imaginations and re-creations of fairytales are captured on film and video, featured on her blog. Hermès was such a fan of her work that the brand not only put her on the the cover of the Autumn/Winter 2012-13 edition of the brand’s official magazine, Le Monde d’Hermes, but also collaborated with Bee and commissioned her to shoot a short film entitled Il est pour nous (translation: “It Is For Us”) with the Hermès scarf as its star.

This isn’t the first time Olivia Bee has been commissioned by a brand. Olivia and her work have also been featured in TIME Magazine, The New York Times, The Huffington Post, and Swide.com to name a few. She also has had her work exhibited (both solo and non) since 2009 when she was 15. Click Here for more on Olivia’s work
