My Favourite Picks from Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2012

You know, I'm really loving the Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2012 collection even more than the (dare I say) because it's more vivacious this season than the main Marc Jacobs line, because the main line is more true to its founding principle philosophy: classicism. Marc by Marc Jacobs, on the other hand, is more youthful and more, well, high street style because that's what most of the youths are after.

Anyway, you may remember that back in September I was already raving about these colour-blocked pocket clutches spotted on the Marc by MJ runway at New York Fashion Week. In fact, I thought they looked more luxe and more designer. I remember commenting that I thought it was more Fendi than the usual Marc by Marc Jacobs, but MbMJ it was!

And so my love affair with these babies continue:

Another of my picks, don't you just love the colour?

If you prefer something less trendy then perhaps these reversible nylon totes are a good alternative. Roomy enough for school/college/work. No prizes for guessing whether I'll be using the black or the fuchsia side, ;D

I don't have the prices yet because the Spring/Summer 2012 collection hasn't launched in MbMJ stores in KL yet, but I will upload the prices once I have them so stay tuned!

Apart from the reversible totes, the Spring/Summer 2012 collection is very uncharacteristic of MbMJ don't you think? But unusual as it may be, I'm certainly excited to see the direction in which this more youthful line is evolving! Thoughts?
