Fendi's Chameleon for Fall

The colour blocking trend shows no signs of slowing down and carries right through the Fall/Winter season, and Fendi's new "Chameleon Boston" is evidence of this. While colour blocks in Spring/Summer 2011 seem to be colours that "Clash" (pleasantly of course!) with one another, the choice of colour combinations used for colour blocking this Fall/Winter 2011-12 season seem to be more complementary, and of the same colour spectrum. Whichever it is, I love both, yes I am and always have been a colour-blocking fan ;D, and yes I love the colour palette that Fendi uses for the "Chameleon Boston".

What I don't understand though, is why it is called the "Boston" because its shape doesn't at all resemble a Boston bag (which is used to refer to bags whose shapes are like Vuitton's "Speedy"). So yes, calling this bag a Boston bag is kind of puzzling, well, to me anyway. When I first saw this, I had initially thought was that it was a more luxurious variant of Fendi's "2Bag" (due to the shape of the top corners) that debuted this Spring/Summer season, only to realise that it was a completely different range of bags altogether.

In terms of style, however, some find it too mature, some find it to plain and simple, I, on the other hand, would call it minimalist chic! With the colour blocking going on, doing more with the bag will just spell disaster. Oh, and I don't know about you but I think that the "Chameleon Boston" bags have unisex appeal and would look as good on a guy.

Pick your poison, which is YOUR fave? Mine is the last one in suede and lizard. Yes, I love my exotics ;D!
