Jil Sander’s acetate market tote got the fashion universe so excited, that it was almost impossible to get your hands on one. I, on the other hand, didn’t even like the sight of it, simply because it looks like a thicker and glossier version of the transparent red and pink plastic bags that we use, over here in Asia (see picture below). In fact, at a couple of hundred quid a pop, I just didn’t see the logic.
In fact, the acetate tote put me off so much, that I didn’t even want to blog about it, considering that it made my eyes sore. The NEW and improved striped silk-twill market tote, however, is MUCH easier on the eyes, well my eyes anyway.
This striped version of the market tote is on trend and I just adore how the pink snap-on leather straps give the bag a pop of colour!
