The Verdict: When I first saw these bags on models coming down the runway, I wasn't intrigued. It wasn't until I saw these on the Burberry website that I instantly fell in love with some of the bags. It's a collection that appeals to me, because I'm a fan of tote and bags that you carry on your arm, and save for the clutches and crossbody bags, this is what this collection is about.

As you might have noticed, Burberry seems to be doing a lot of bags in Exotic skins or with exotic skin details this season. I'm not at all a fan of the Haymarket bags (I think the check looks rather mature). My favourites from the AW collection are the black and white check bags and the leather bowling bag in both the solid colour and the 2-toned version. As for the crossbody bags, I'm not a fan, because they tend to look like WOCs (Wallet on Chains).

Some editors have commented that Christopher Bailey has disappointed them this season, but I, on the other hand, am someone who has never been a fan of Burberry, find that these are my favourite bags for AW11 thus far. What I love is the oversized tassel details on the bag.. Sure, they might be a little inspired by the tassels on Gucci's "Indy" bag, but I'm still loving these shapes nonetheless. Thumbs up, Christopher Bailey. My FAVE bag collection thus far.

Note: Just like last season, these bags are available for purchase via Burberry.com from now until February 27th 2011. Orders will be shipped within 7 weeks! I feel like ordering a few from this collection!!
